Kapsokwony high students sleep in the cold following dorm fire

Students of Chewoyet high school in West Pokot county were forced to sleep in the cold Sunday night following a fire outbreak that razed down a dormitory at around 10:30 pm when students were watching a football match. According to the acting County Commissioner Hezron Nyaberi, no one was injured during the incident but stated that investigations into the cause of fire were underway. Meanwhile, a dormitory in Kapsokwony Boys high school in Mt.Elgon region was burnt down on Monday night, an incident education officials claim was politically instigated. Students have since been forced to go home.
